17 magazine's summer splash wuz the bomb... we had loads of fun performing. Well, here's the bad news... Our single, "Fly With Me" won't b playin in hitz...
Hitz rejected it coz aparently it was too "old skool". But wait a minute... isn't that the reason we won blast off? isn't that what they taught us to be in blast off? Hell yeah! They taught us to be different, n yeah we were! Were there any other old skool bands in blastoff 2007?? We won blast off through votes, meaning ppl voted for "old skool"... now, why wouldnt our single make it on radio? well, they said its too "old skool" n no one's gonna want to listen to it. Besides, "we don't want our station to sound old"... Those were the exact words of hmmm... u know who la...
Oh, n apparently our single's quality was AWFUL!! According to "u know who la"...
Well, juz to clarify, we spent RM1200 for 6hours of recording n mixing n mastering juz for that one track. Which studio? well, these are juz few other artist who recorded their music in this studio...

well, if you've never heard our single before n wondering how old skool could it be? well, its basically the glam-rock era... lotsa guitar work n stuff.. not juz some bangin power chords... hmmm, think "bed of roses", or "love is only a feeling"... somewhere along that line...
Anywayz, too bad its rejected... we'll juz have to come up with something moreeee hmmmm...err... punk or Numetal or somethin like that. I love that kinda music too, but so much for being different ey... hahaha...
oh btw, "Beat the System", my fren's band, will b out on radio soon... won't tell you which station yet.. will keep ya posted... Its a Numetal band! Listened to their songs! Awesome stuff! Loved it.. Somethin like Dragon Red's stuff... Other than that Project Eight's been out on Fly fm for a while d.. they're awesome too... My good friends too... They'll b performing in laundry on the 5th of July for Campur Chart... Go check it out! CODA should b releasing their single soon too.. heard theirs too... really cool... like Muse.... oh n their malay hit is juz Jiwang to the max! I love it!! hahaha

HONESTLY!! u should punch whoever " you know who is" and sorry nesan i dont know who you know who is.
but i honestly do know how it feels to try so hard and have ur whole hard work and effort just dissapear like that.
and u guys spent that much of money just to record?? how can they do that??? they should sponsor your recording fee man!!!!
and old school?? dont they know old is gold????? I'm so sorry but i just cant stand people always fighting to be current all the time. what u guys did was awesome. and if hitz.fm doesnt wanna sound old.. why do they still play songs from the mid 90's??? u can clearly hear the difference between "current or not" u guys should argue your point.
but dont worry u guys still rock. getting that one single rejected does not reflect on how u guys are overall. im sure bon jovi had songs rejected before they headed off to stardom.

i loved your production. it's very unique. Quality's good as well!! It doesn't sound old school to me. Screw them!
